Public Transport
If you are in Setúbal, head to the Setúbal train station (Estação de Setúbal). From there, take a train to Lisbon. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lisbon train station (Cais do Sodré), exit the station and head towards the metro station (Cais do Sodré metro station). Take the Green Line (Linha Verde) towards Telheiras and get off at the Rossio station. From Rossio, exit the station and walk towards Praça da Figueira. Continue walking straight until you reach Largo do Carmo. The Carmo Archaeological Museum is located in the square.
Walking
If you are already in the city center of Setúbal, you can explore the local area and head to the Setúbal ferry terminal. Take a ferry to Lisbon, which will give you a scenic view of the Tagus River. After arriving at the ferry terminal in Lisbon, exit the terminal and walk towards Rua da Prata. Continue straight until you reach the Praça do Comércio. From there, walk towards the Rua do Ouro, then take a left onto Rua da Conceição. Follow this road until you reach Largo do Carmo. The Carmo Archaeological Museum will be on your left.
Taxi or Ride-share
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing service from Setúbal to Lisbon. Simply provide the driver with the address Largo do Carmo, 1200-092 Lisboa. The trip will take approximately 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Largo do Carmo, you will find the Carmo Archaeological Museum in the square.
