    Walking

    If you are in the center of Setúbal, start by heading towards the waterfront along the Avenida Luísa Todi. Continue walking until you reach the end of the avenue, where you will see the beautiful marina. From the marina, turn left onto R. da Liberdade and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto R. da Boavista. Follow R. da Boavista uphill until you see a sign for Castelo de Sesimbra. Continue walking up the hill, and you will eventually arrive at the castle entrance, located at R. Nossa Sra. do Castelo 11.

    Bus

    From the Setúbal bus station, take the bus number 552 towards Sesimbra. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Sesimbra'. Once you exit the bus, head towards the main road and follow the signs for Castelo de Sesimbra. It's a short uphill walk from the bus stop to the castle. You will be walking along R. Nossa Sra. do Castelo, and the castle entrance will be on your left.
