Bus

From the Setúbal city center, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal. You can walk there in about 10 minutes from Praça do Brasil. Once at the terminal, look for the bus to Galápos Beach (Bus number 100). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to alight at the 'Galápos' stop. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the beach.

If you are near the Setúbal waterfront, walk towards Avenida Luísa Todi, then head south along the river until you reach the Estrada da Praia dos Galápos. Follow this road for about 4 kilometers; it will take approximately 50 minutes on foot. You will see signs directing you to Galápos Beach as you approach the area.

Taxi/ Ride-sharing

You can easily find a taxi or use ride-sharing apps like Uber in Setúbal. Simply request a ride to 'Galápos Beach' or 'São Simão.' The journey should take around 15-20 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic conditions. Confirm with the driver that they know the location.

Bicycle

For a more adventurous option, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Setúbal. Cycle along Avenida Luísa Todi towards the Estrada da Praia dos Galápos. The route is approximately 4 kilometers and is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable ride. It should take around 20-25 minutes to reach Galápos Beach.
