Walking
If you're in the center of Setúbal, head to Avenida Luísa Todi, which is the main street. Walk towards the direction of the river until you reach the Praça do Comércio. From there, you can catch a train or bus to Lisbon. If you choose to walk to the train station, continue along Avenida Luísa Todi until you reach the Setúbal Train Station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Once at the station, board a train heading to Lisbon (Cais do Sodré or Rossio). The train journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Lisbon, follow the signs to the metro or tram to reach the Largo da Sé, where the Lisbon Cathedral is located.
Public Transport
Start by heading to the Setúbal train station located on Avenida 5 de Outubro. Purchase a ticket to Lisbon and board the train towards Lisbon (Cais do Sodré or Rossio). The journey will take about 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Lisbon, exit the train station and look for the metro station or tram. Take the metro on the blue line towards Santa Apolónia. Upon reaching Santa Apolónia, exit the station and walk towards the direction of the Lisbon Cathedral, which is approximately a 15-minute walk uphill. Follow the signs towards 'Sé de Lisboa' and you will find yourself at Largo da Sé.
