Bus
From the city center of Setúbal, walk to the Setúbal Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal). Once there, take the bus towards Lisbon (Lisboa). The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Alight at the 'Lisboa Sete Rios' bus stop. From there, take the metro at the Jardim Zoológico station on the Blue Line towards Santa Apolónia. Change at the 'Baixa-Chiado' station to the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré. Disembark at 'Cais do Sodré' station. Exit the station and walk towards the waterfront; follow the signs to the Cais da Princesa, which is about a 15-minute walk along the riverfront.

Train
From Setúbal Train Station, take the train towards Lisbon (Lisboa) on the Fertagus line. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Roma' station. From Roma, you can either take a bus (number 708 or 720) to the 'Cais do Sodré' bus stop or continue by metro. To use the metro, walk to the nearby 'Alameda' metro station and take the Red Line towards São Sebastião. Change at 'Saldanha' to the Yellow Line towards Rato, and disembark at 'Cais do Sodré'. From there, walk straight towards the waterfront, and follow the signs to Cais da Princesa, which is about 15 minutes away on foot.

If you prefer to walk, start from the Setúbal city center and head towards the riverfront. Follow the Avenida da Liberdade until you reach the waterfront promenade. Continue along the promenade, enjoying the views of the river and the city. It will take approximately 1.5 hours to walk to Cais da Princesa, Jardim da Torre de, in Lisbon, but this option is great for those who want to take in the sights along the way.
