    Getting There

    Train

    From Setúbal, head to the Setúbal train station (Estação de Setúbal). Purchase a ticket for the train to Lisbon (Lisboa) at the ticket counter or automated machines. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lisboa (Oriente) station, exit the station and follow the signs to the metro.

    At Oriente station, take the red line (Linha Vermelha) in the direction of São Sebastião. Travel just one stop and get off at the station called 'Cerro do Loureiro'. After exiting the train, follow the signs to the 'Cerro do Loureiro' exit, which will lead you towards the street level.

    Walking

    Once you are above ground, head west towards the Avenida Infante Dom Henrique. Continue walking straight until you reach the waterfront. At the waterfront, turn left and follow the promenade along the Tagus River. You will see the Oceanário de Lisboa in the distance. It's a pleasant walk of about 15-20 minutes along the river, and you will enjoy views of the water and the surrounding architecture.
