Public Bus
From Setúbal city center, head to the main bus station at Praça do Brasil. Take bus number 207 towards 'Almada/Pragal'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Cais do Sodré' stop. From there, transfer to tram number 15E at the 'Cais do Sodré' tram stop. Ride the tram for about 20 minutes until you reach the 'Ajuda' stop. From the tram stop, walk about 5 minutes up the hill to Largo da Ajuda where the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda is located.

Start at Setúbal train station and take a train to 'Lisboa (Entrecampos)'. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Entrecampos station, transfer to metro line 'Amarela' (Yellow Line) towards 'Rato'. Get off at 'Rato' station and exit towards the bus terminal. From there, catch bus number 28 towards 'Prazeres'. Get off at the 'Ajuda' stop. The Palácio Nacional da Ajuda is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
