Praça Luís de Camões: A Cultural Heartbeat of Lisbon

Getting There

• Bus

  From Setúbal city center, walk to the Setúbal Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal). Take the bus to Lisbon (Lisboa). The trip takes about 50 minutes to 1 hour. Once in Lisbon, get off at the last stop in the city center. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Praça Luís de Camões. Head northeast on Avenida da Liberdade, then turn right onto Rua da Betesga. Continue straight until you reach the square.

• Train

  Walk to Setúbal's train station (Estação de Setúbal). Take the train towards Lisbon (Lisboa) and get off at Cais do Sodré station. This journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Cais do Sodré, exit the station and walk towards Praça Luís de Camões, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head northeast on Rua do Arsenal, then turn left onto Rua da Prata and continue straight until you reach the square.

• Ferry

  Walk to the Setúbal Ferry Terminal (Terminal Marítimo de Setúbal). Take the ferry to Lisbon (Lisboa). The ferry ride lasts approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Lisbon ferry terminal (Cais do Sodré), exit the terminal and walk towards Praça Luís de Camões, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head northeast on Rua do Arsenal, then turn left onto Rua da Prata and continue straight until you reach the square.
