Walking
From Setúbal city center, head south towards Av. 5 de Outubro. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit towards Rua da Saúde. Follow this road until you reach the waterfront. Once you are at the waterfront, turn left and walk along the promenade towards the ferry terminal. After about 1 km, you will find the ferry terminal to Troia. Take the ferry to Troia, which will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Troia, walk straight out of the terminal and follow the signs to the beach areas. Continue walking towards Praia da Califórnia, which is located in Sesimbra. It's about a 30-minute walk from the ferry terminal in Troia.

Public Transport
From Setúbal city center, walk to the bus station located on Av. 5 de Outubro. Take the bus number 203 towards Sesimbra. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Sesimbra bus stop, which is near the town center. From there, walk towards the beach by heading south on Rua da Liberdade, then turn left onto Rua Heliodoro Salgado. Praia da Califórnia will be on your right after a short walk.
