Getting There

• Train

  From Lisbon, head to the 'Cais do Sodré' train station. You can take the metro to 'Cais do Sodré' (Green Line) from anywhere in the city. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Sesimbra. The train journey to 'Sesimbra' takes approximately 40 minutes. After arriving at the Sesimbra train station, exit and walk straight along 'Rua da Liberdade' until you reach the main road, 'Avenida dos Pescadores'. From there, turn left and follow the road as it curves around the coastline towards the beach. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach Praia da Califórnia, located at Rua Heliodoro Salgado 2C.

• Bus

  From central Lisbon, go to 'Praça de Figueira' square where you can find the bus terminal. Look for bus number 207 towards Sesimbra. The bus ride will take around 50 minutes. When you arrive at the 'Sesimbra' bus station, exit and walk towards the beach following 'Rua da Liberdade'. Then, turn left at 'Avenida dos Pescadores' and walk along the coast for about 15 minutes until you reach Praia da Califórnia, located at Rua Heliodoro Salgado 2C.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app from any location in Lisbon. Simply input 'Praia da Califórnia, Rua Heliodoro Salgado 2C, 2970-736 Sesimbra' as your destination. The drive will take approximately 40-50 minutes depending on traffic conditions. This option is convenient if you are traveling with luggage or prefer not to navigate public transport.

• Walking

  If you are already in Sesimbra, you can explore the area on foot. From the center of Sesimbra, head towards 'Avenida dos Pescadores' along the coastline, enjoying the beautiful views of the beach. Continue walking for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at Praia da Califórnia located at Rua Heliodoro Salgado 2C.
