Take Bus 135 or Bus 137 towards 'Costa da Caparica'. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the main bus stop in Costa da Caparica, follow the signs to the beach, which is about a 10-minute walk straight ahead.

  • Train and Bus

    Start your journey at Setúbal train station. Take a train towards Lisbon (Cascais line). Get off at the Pragal station. From Pragal, head to the bus terminal and take Bus 100 or Bus 101 towards 'Costa da Caparica'. After about 15-20 minutes on the bus, you will arrive at the main bus stop in Costa da Caparica. Walk straight towards the beach area, which should take about 10 minutes.

  • Walking

    If you are in central Setúbal, you can walk to Costa da Caparica, but it is a long distance (approximately 10 km). Head south towards the river until you reach the waterfront promenade along the Tagus River. Follow the promenade until you reach the bridge (Ponte 25 de Abril), then cross over to Almada. From there, you can follow the signs towards Costa da Caparica, which will take you another 30 minutes of walking along the beach paths.
