From Setúbal city center, head to the Setúbal bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal) located near Avenida Luísa Todi. Take bus number 553 towards Sesimbra. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Disembark at the bus stop 'Praia do Meco' which is marked with clear signage. From the bus stop, follow the signs leading to the beach which is about a 15-minute walk down a path that leads directly to the shoreline.

If you prefer to explore, you can take the bus from Setúbal to the center of Sesimbra (about 30 minutes). Once in Sesimbra, follow the coastal road (Estrada da Praia) south towards Praia do Meco. It's about a 4 km walk along the scenic coastline, and you will be rewarded with beautiful views along the way. Just stay on the main road until you reach the beach.
