    If you are in the center of Sintra, start at the Sintra train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, Rua Dr. Alfredo da Costa. Turn right and walk straight until you reach the end of the street. From there, take a left onto Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda. Continue walking until you see signs for the bus terminal. At the bus terminal, catch the bus to Lisbon (Lisboa) - it should be marked as going to 'Lisboa'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once in Lisbon, get off at the stop 'Carmo'. From the stop, walk towards Largo do Carmo, which is just a short 5-minute walk away. The Carmo Archaeological Museum will be right at the Largo do Carmo.

    From any point in Sintra, make your way to the Sintra train station. Purchase a ticket for Lisbon (Lisboa). Board the train heading to Rossio station in Lisbon. The train ride will take about 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Rossio station, exit the station and head towards the nearest metro station, which is Restauradores. Take the metro (green line) towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at Baixa-Chiado station. From there, follow the signs to Largo do Carmo. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Baixa-Chiado station to Largo do Carmo, where you will find the Carmo Archaeological Museum.
