Bus
From the Sintra train station, take the bus number 403 towards Lisbon. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Estádio da Luz' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Estádio do Benfica. Simply head south on Av. Eusébio da Silva Ferreira, and you will see the stadium on your left.
Train
Travel from Sintra train station to Lisbon (Rossio station). Once you arrive at Rossio, transfer to the metro by taking the Blue Line towards Santa Apolónia. Change at 'Marquês de Pombal' station to the Yellow Line towards Rato. Get off at 'Campo Pequeno' station. Exit the station and walk about 15 minutes south on Av. da República until you reach Av. Eusébio da Silva Ferreira. The stadium will be on your right.
Taxi/ride-sharing
You can easily book a taxi or use a ride-sharing app like Uber from any location in Sintra. Just enter 'Estádio do Benfica, Av. Eusébio da Silva Ferreira, 1500-313 Lisboa' as your destination. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
If you're up for a long walk, you can trek from Sintra to Lisbon. Head towards the main road (N250) and follow it straight down into Lisbon. This is a very long walk (approximately 30 km) and may take several hours, so it is recommended only for the adventurous and fit. Ensure you have plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes.
