From the station, head towards the Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda, which is the main road leading out of the city. Walk along this avenue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da Rainha. Turn left onto Rua da Rainha and walk until you see a sign for Fonte dos Pisões. Follow the signs, which will lead you into the surrounding nature trails. The walk should take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.

From the center of Sintra, walk to the nearby bus stop at Largo do Mercado Municipal. Take the bus number 435, which heads towards Monserrate. After approximately 10 minutes, alight at the 'Monserrate' stop.
