From Sintra center, walk to the Sintra train station. Once there, take the bus line 403 towards Lisbon. This bus will take you directly to the Garcia de Orta garden. Get off at the 'Garcia de Orta' stop. The garden entrance is a short walk from the bus stop.

Head to the Sintra train station and take the train to Lisbon. Once you arrive at the Rossio station in Lisbon, exit the station and walk approximately 12 minutes to the Cais do Sodré metro station. From there, take the green metro line toward Telheiras, and get off at the Jardim Zoológico station. From the metro station, you can walk to the Garcia de Orta garden in about 15 minutes.
