    If you are starting from the Sintra train station, exit the station and head straight down the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda). Continue walking for about 10 minutes, following the signs towards the Historic Center. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua das Padarias. Continue straight until you reach the main square, where you will find the Historic Center.

    From the Sintra train station, you can take bus number 434 towards the Historic Center. The bus stop is directly outside the station. Board the bus and stay on for about 10 minutes. The bus will take you directly to the main square in the Historic Center. Once you disembark, you will be in the heart of the Historic Center, ready to explore.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    For a unique experience, you can take a tuk-tuk from the Sintra train station. Look for the tuk-tuk stand just outside the station. A ride to the Historic Center will take approximately 10 minutes. The drivers are knowledgeable and can give you insights about the area on the way. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off at the main square of the Historic Center.
