Train
From Sintra, head to Sintra Train Station located in the city center. You can easily walk there from most accommodations. Once at the station, buy a ticket to Lisbon (Lisboa) for the train to Rossio Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. After arriving at Rossio Station in Lisbon, exit the station and walk to Praça da Figueira, which is roughly a 10-minute walk. From there, catch the Metro (Blue Line) at the Rossio Metro station towards Santa Apolónia and get off at the Saldanha station. Exit the station and walk about 5 minutes to reach the Pharmacy Museum at R. Mal. Saldanha 1.
Bus
Take the bus from Sintra Bus Station which is adjacent to the train station. Look for the bus service to Lisbon. The most common route is bus number 434. The bus will drop you off at Campo de Ourique. From there, catch the Metro (Blue Line) at the Rato station towards Santa Apolónia and get off at the Saldanha station. Once you exit the station, it is a short 5-minute walk to the Pharmacy Museum located at R. Mal. Saldanha 1.
Walking
If you are already in Lisbon and near the Avenida da Liberdade, you can walk to the Pharmacy Museum. Start at Avenida da Liberdade and head east towards Praça dos Restauradores. From there, walk towards the Rossio area and continue to Praça da Figueira. From Praça da Figueira, make your way to Saldanha. The museum is located at R. Mal.
