Walking
If you are in the center of Sintra, start at the Sintra train station. Exit the station and walk straight along Av. Dr. Alfredo da Costa. After about 300 meters, take a left onto R. José Nunes, continuing until you reach the main road. Turn right onto R. das Ferrarias and follow it until you reach the Estação de Metrô de Rato, where you can catch the metro to Lisbon. Once you arrive at the Rato metro station, exit and walk to the Praça do Príncipe Real, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station. You will find the square at the intersection of R. da Escola Politécnica and R. do Príncipe Real.
Bus
From Sintra, walk to the Sintra bus terminal located near the train station. Look for bus number 434, which will take you to the center of Lisbon. Ride the bus until you reach the Rato stop. Once you get off, walk towards Av. da Liberdade and then turn onto R. da Escola Politécnica. Continue walking straight until you reach Praça do Príncipe Real, which should be a 5-10 minute walk.
Train and Metro
Start at Sintra train station and board the train to Lisbon. Once you arrive at Rossio station, follow the signs to the Metro station. Take the Green Line towards Cais do Sodré and get off at Rato station. After exiting the metro, head towards Av. da Liberdade and then take a left on R. da Escola Politécnica. Walk straight for about 10 minutes to reach Praça do Príncipe Real.
