Train
From Sintra, walk to Sintra train station, which is about a 10-minute walk from the town center. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Sesimbra. Note that there may be limited direct train services, so check the schedule in advance. If there are no direct trains, you may need to take a train to a nearby station such as Sete Rios and then transfer to a bus or another train that goes to Sesimbra.
Bus
You can take a bus from Sintra to Sesimbra. Head to the Sintra bus terminal located near the train station. Look for the 'Scotturb' bus service that goes to Sesimbra (Bus No. 403). The bus journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand as it may vary throughout the day.
Walking
While walking from Sintra to Sesimbra is not recommended due to the distance (approximately 25 km), if you're feeling adventurous and want to enjoy the scenic views, you could take a trail starting from Sintra, but prepare for a long hike.
