Train
From Sintra train station, take the train to Lisbon. Ensure you board a train heading towards Rossio station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Rossio station, exit the station and head towards Praça da Figueira. From there, catch the Metro (Green Line) at Rossio Metro station and travel to 'Alameda' station, where you will change to the Red Line. Continue on the Red Line until you reach 'Saldanha' station. At Saldanha, transfer to the Yellow Line and travel to 'Campo Pequeno' station. Finally, exit the station and walk north for about 10 minutes to reach Rua Professor Fernando da Fonseca.
Bus
From the Sintra center, head to the bus stop at 'Sintra Estação'. Take the bus number 434 towards 'Praia das Maçãs'. After about 30 minutes, get off at 'Praça do Comércio' stop. From there, walk to the nearby 'Rato' Metro station and take the Green Line towards 'Cais do Sodré'. Transfer to the Red Line at 'Alameda' station and continue to 'Saldanha'. At 'Saldanha', switch to the Yellow Line and travel to 'Campo Pequeno'. Exit the station and walk for about 10 minutes to reach Rua Professor Fernando da Fonseca.
Walking
If you are near the Sintra city center, you can walk to the train station. Head east on Rua Dr. Alfredo da Costa, then turn left onto Av. Dr. Miguel Bombarda, and follow the road straight for about 15 minutes. Upon reaching the Sintra train station, board a train to Lisbon. After arriving at Rossio station, follow the earlier instructions to reach Rua Professor Fernando da Fonseca.
