Train
From Sintra train station, after exiting the station, head towards the main street (Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda). Follow the street until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the train station at Estoril. From there, you can catch the local train towards Cascais, which will take you directly to Tamariz Beach. The beach is just a short 5-minute walk from the train station; simply head towards the coast and follow the signs to the beach.

Bus
From the center of Sintra, find the bus stop for the Scotturb bus line 415, which heads towards Cascais. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. Get off at the Tamariz Beach stop. Once you exit the bus, you will find yourself just steps away from the beach. Follow the path leading down towards the sand and enjoy your time at the beach.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk to Tamariz Beach, start from the Sintra town center. Head down Rua das Padarias towards the main square, then follow the signs towards the coast. This route will take you through beautiful scenery and local streets. The walk is approximately 6 kilometers and will take around 1.5 hours, but it’s a great way to see the area. Follow the path until you reach the coastline, and you’ll find Tamariz Beach right in front of you.
