  • Walking

    From the center of Sintra, head towards the Sintra train station. Walk down Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua da Ferraria. Continue on this road until it merges into Estrada da Ursa. Follow this road for about 3 km, enjoying the scenic views. You will see signs for Ursa Beach. Once you arrive, there will be a trail leading down to the beach. Be prepared for a bit of a hike down the steep path.

  • Bus

    From Sintra, take the bus number 403 towards Cabo da Roca. The bus departs from the Sintra train station. You will need to get off at the 'Praia da Ursa' stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs leading to Ursa Beach. This will involve a short walk along the road and then down a steep path to reach the beach.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a quicker route, you can take a taxi from the center of Sintra directly to Ursa Beach. It is approximately a 15-minute drive. Just ask the taxi driver to take you to 'Praia da Ursa'. Note that taxis might not be readily available at the beach, so plan accordingly for your return trip.
