Train
To reach Praça dos Restauradores from Sintra, start by walking to Sintra train station. Once there, purchase a ticket to Lisbon (Cais do Sodré). The journey takes about 40 minutes. After arriving at Rossio station in Lisbon, exit the station and walk straight down Rua 1º de Dezembro for about 7 minutes until you reach Praça dos Restauradores, which will be on your left.
Bus
From Sintra, head to the main bus stop, which is located near the Sintra train station. Look for the bus that goes to Lisbon (Lisbon Metro). Once on board, enjoy the scenic ride that takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Praça dos Restauradores stop. The square will be directly in front of you.

If you are already in the center of Sintra, you can take a pleasant walk to Praça dos Restauradores. Start from the National Palace of Sintra, heading down towards the main road (Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda). Walk straight, following the signs for Sintra train station. Once you reach the station, from there, you can take a train or bus to Lisbon (Cais do Sodré). After reaching Rossio station in Lisbon, walk straight for about 7 minutes down Rua 1º de Dezembro to reach the square.
