From the center of Tomar, head towards Praça da República. As you face the main square, look for the direction towards the Igreja de São João Baptista. Walk down Rua de Serpa Pinto, and continue until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenida do Sardoal. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see signs for Alcanede. The Centro de Interpretação Subterrâneo da Gruta - Algar do Pena (CISGAP) is located on the outskirts of Alcanede, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the roundabout.
