Walking
Start from the center of Viana do Castelo at Praça da República. Head northeast on Rua da Bandeira towards Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Av. da Liberdade. Turn left onto Av. da Liberdade and follow it until you reach the main square, Praça da República in Braga. The square is a well-known landmark and should be easy to spot.
Public Transport - Bus
From Viana do Castelo, make your way to the bus station located at Av. da República. Purchase a ticket to Braga (Braga has several bus services). Board the bus heading to Braga, which typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Braga bus station, exit and head towards Praça da República, which is about a 15-minute walk. Walk straight down Av. Central until you see the square.
