Start from the center of Viana do Castelo, specifically at the Praça da República. Head southwest towards the Avenida de Cabral. Continue straight until you reach the main road and turn left onto Rua do Comércio. Walk straight until you reach the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Viana do Castelo). From the bus station, take the bus to Braga. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Braga, head towards the central area where you will find the Av. Central. Walk along Av. Central for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Congregados Basilica at Av. Central 98.

From the center of Viana do Castelo, take the local bus (Check the schedule for the next bus) to Braga. Buses frequently depart from the Terminal Rodoviário de Viana do Castelo. The ride will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive in Braga, walk towards the Av. Central, which is a main thoroughfare. It is a straight walk of about 10 minutes, and you will find the Congregados Basilica located at Av. Central 98.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Viana do Castelo directly to Braga. Taxis can be found near the Praça da República or you can call for one.
