Train
From Vila Real, head to the Vila Real train station, which is located at Av. de Portugal 20. You can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take a taxi. Once at the train station, purchase a ticket for the train to Pinhão. The train journey takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. After arriving at Pinhão station, exit the train and head towards the main road (N-222).

Walking
Once you are at the Pinhão train station, exit and turn left onto the N-222 road. Continue walking along this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by beautiful views of the Douro Valley. After walking for approximately 15-20 minutes, you will see a sign for Quinta do Noval on your left. Turn left onto R. da Praia and follow it for another 500 meters. Quinta do Noval will be on your right at R. da Praia 15.

Bus
Alternatively, if you prefer not to walk, you can take a local bus from Vila Real to Pinhão. Check the local bus schedules at the Vila Real bus station located at Av. 10 de Junho. The bus ride to Pinhão takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pinhão bus stop, exit and follow the same walking directions mentioned above to reach Quinta do Noval.
