From Vila Real city center, head to the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Vila Real). Take a bus heading towards Amarante. The bus ride is approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Amarante bus station, exit the station and walk towards the main road (Av. Marquês de Pombal). Follow this road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto N15. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will see signs directing you to Parque Florestal de Amarante on your right.

If you are already near the city center of Vila Real, you can choose to walk to the Parque Florestal de Amarante. Begin at Praça da República, heading east on Rua 1º de Maio. Continue straight until you reach Av. de França, then turn right. Follow Av. de França until you reach Av. Marquês de Pombal and turn left. Continue on Av. Marquês de Pombal until you reach the roundabout, where you will take the second exit onto N15. Walk approximately 1 kilometer until you see the entrance to the park on your right.
