From the center of Vila Real, head to the main bus station located at Rua da Estação. Look for the bus service to Pinhão, which is operated by Rede Expressos or other local companies. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Pinhão, exit the bus terminal and head toward the main road (EM590). Quinta da Foz is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the road signs toward the vineyards, and you will see the entrance to Quinta da Foz on your left.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Vila Real to Quinta da Foz. You can find taxis near the main square or call one to your location. The drive takes about 25-30 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination: 'Quinta da Foz, EM590, Pinhão'.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore the scenic routes, you can walk from Vila Real to Pinhão. The distance is approximately 15 km, and it will take around 3-4 hours. Start by heading towards the Douro River on Rua de Cima and follow the riverside paths. Enjoy the beautiful views along the way, but be cautious of the terrain. Once you reach Pinhão, follow the signs to EM590, and Quinta da Foz will be on your left.
