Walking
From the center of Vila Real, head south on Rua do Comércio towards Praça do Município. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida de Carvalho Araújo. Walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the next roundabout. At this roundabout, take the first exit onto N103 towards Peso da Régua. Continue on N103 for about 5 kilometers. After passing through a small village, take a left onto the road signposted for Quinta do Vallado. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you see the entrance to Quinta do Vallado on your right.
Public Transport
From Vila Real, head to the main bus station located at Avenida 1 de Maio. Take a bus heading towards Peso da Régua. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Peso da Régua, you will need to transfer to a local taxi service or look for any available ride-share options to take you to Quinta do Vallado, which is about 6 kilometers away. Taxis are generally available at the bus station.
