The distance is approximately 13 kilometers, so prepare for a long walk or consider taking a bus for part of the journey.

Public Bus

From the Lamego Bus Station, purchase a ticket to Peso da Régua. The bus service is usually available every hour. After boarding, enjoy the scenic ride along the Douro Valley. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Peso da Régua bus station, you will be very close to the N2 route, which is a well-known road that runs through the area.
