Start at the Lamego Cathedral (Sé de Lamego), which is located in the city center. From the Cathedral, head southeast on Rua do Comércio. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1º de Maio. Turn right onto Avenida 1º de Maio and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the exit for Rua da República, which will lead you towards the Douro River. Keep walking along this road, and you will see signs directing you to Peso da Régua. The distance is approximately 13 kilometers, so prepare for a long walk or consider taking a bus for part of the journey.

The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Peso da Régua bus station, you will be very close to the N2 route, which is a well-known road that runs through the area.
