Helder is an outstanding tour guide and the Douro valley was gorgeous. He was very knowledgeable, booked our perfect lunch spot and Port Tour, and took us to amazing spots to view the beauty of the valley. Comfortable vehicle and relaxed enjoyable day!

Douro valley wine tour with Sommelier
We spent an amazing day with Mikael Pereira, our guide visiting the Duoro wine region, an amazing winery and a beautiful farm. Mikael was very informative and had many interesting stories to tell and kept us entertained throughout the day. The scenery was simply incredible! The visit to Quinta Do Beijo winery was interesting, entertaining and the owner very charming. The wines were so good! We visited a lovely local restaurant in Pinhao where we had a delicious lunch and then went on a river boat cruise on the Duoro river. After we visited a beautiful farm, Quinta de Montouro where the most charming owner talked to us about his farm, his winery and his family history. We tasted his wines and some tasty snacks. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Portugal, I can't say enough good things about Mikael and the experience he took us on. I would highly recommend this adventure!

Mateus Palace, History, Art and Douro Wines
It would be a shame to walk past without stopping!
A little surprised to see so few reviews, because the place is superb and full of history, it is definitely worth stopping there 2 hours to visit the gardens and the richly decorated Casa. There is a guided tour of 25' and another of 50, the first seemed already detailed, even if it was by audio-guide
