The Pelourinho de Vila Real will be on your left, right at the square.

From there, walk east along Avenida de Carvalho for about 5 minutes until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rua da Alegria, and continue straight to Largo do Mercado. Turn right onto Rua do Comércio, and you will arrive at Largo do Pelourinho, where the monument is located.
