Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Vilamoura, head east on Avenida da Praia towards Rua da Alagoa. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto N396 (Estrada da Rocha Baixinha). Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers. When you reach the next roundabout, take the first exit onto N125 towards Albufeira. After about 3 kilometers, take the exit towards Olhos de Água. Follow the signs to Olhos de Água and turn right onto Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach Açude do Moleiro, which will be on your right. Parking may be available along the street.

• Public Transportation

  From Vilamoura, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Avenida da Praia. Take bus line 1 (Albufeira - Vilamoura) towards Albufeira. Get off at the Olhos de Água stop, which is approximately a 15-minute ride. Once you disembark, walk along Rua da Liberdade towards the beach. Follow the road, and you will find Açude do Moleiro approximately 10 minutes on foot. Be sure to check the local bus schedule for any changes in service times.

• Taxi

  You can also take a taxi directly from Vilamoura to Açude do Moleiro. Simply request the driver to take you to 8200-593 Olhos de Água. The journey should take around 15 minutes depending on traffic, and it will incur a fare of approximately €15-€20. This is a convenient option if you're traveling with luggage or prefer direct transport.
