    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are starting from the Viseu Cathedral, head east along Rua de R. da Misericórdia for about 300 meters until you reach Praça da República. From there, take a left onto Rua de Miguel Bombarda and continue straight for approximately 400 meters. You will see the Museu Grão Vasco on your right; keep walking straight ahead. After 200 meters, turn right onto Largo 3 de Maio. Casa da Ribeira will be on your left at the end of the square.

    Public Transport

    If you are near the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Viseu), take the bus line 3 or 4. These buses head towards the city center. Get off at the stop named ‘Praça da República’. From there, proceed to walk east along Rua de R. da Misericórdia for about 300 meters to reach Praça da República, then follow the directions for walking as described above.
