From Viseu, head to the main bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Viseu, located at Rua da Estação. Take the bus to Tomar, which typically departs every hour. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Tomar bus station, exit the station and head east on Rua da Liberdade until you reach Praça da República. From the square, continue straight onto Rua de Serpa Pinto, and follow it until you reach Estrada do Convento. The Convent of Christ will be on your left.

Take a train from Viseu to Tomar. First, walk to the Viseu railway station, which is about 15 minutes from the city center. Board a train heading to Tomar, which may require a transfer at the nearest major station, typically in Santa Comba Dão. The total travel time is around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Tomar, follow the signs to the town center, and then navigate to Estrada do Convento where the Convent of Christ is located.

If you are staying in the center of Tomar, the Convent of Christ is a short walk from most central locations. Start at Praça da República and head east on Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach Rua de Serpa Pinto, then turn left. Follow this road until you see Estrada do Convento. The Convent of Christ is located at the end of this road, approximately a 15-20 minute walk.
