From the center of Viseu, head southwest towards Rua Direita. Continue straight until you reach the Praça do Rossio. From there, follow the signs to the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Viseu). Take note of the bus times to Tomar, as they may vary. Once you arrive in Tomar, make your way to the Janela do Capítulo, which is located near the Convento de Cristo. The site is a short walk from the bus station, approximately 15 minutes. Just follow the main road, and you will see the signs directing you to the monument.

From Viseu, walk to the Terminal Rodoviário de Viseu located at Av. da Europa. Purchase a ticket to Tomar. Buses generally run every hour. After approximately 1 hour of travel, you will arrive at Tomar. Upon arrival, exit the bus station and head towards Avenida Marquês de Tomar. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will reach the Janela do Capítulo, which is near the Convento de Cristo.
