Walking
Start your journey from the center of Viseu, specifically at the Viseu Cathedral (Sé de Viseu), which is a prominent landmark. From the Cathedral, head north on Rua do Comércio until you reach the intersection with Rua da Misericórdia. Turn right onto Rua da Misericórdia and continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street. This should take about 10-15 minutes on foot. At the end of Rua da Misericórdia, you will find the Avenida da Europa. Cross the avenue and head toward Parque do Fontelo, which will be on your left. Walk through the park until you see the sign for the 'Caminho dos Penedos'. Follow this path; it will lead you towards Penedo do Perseguido, which is located on R. Nossa Sra. dos Milagres 16. The entire walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Public Transport
From the center of Viseu, head to the nearest bus stop, which can be found at Avenida da Europa. Take the bus that heads towards 'Cruzamento de São João' (check local schedules for the most current routes). After about 15-20 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Parque do Fontelo'. From there, exit the bus and walk towards Parque do Fontelo. Once in the park, look for signs indicating 'Caminho dos Penedos'. Follow the walking path until you reach Penedo do Perseguido at R. Nossa Sra. dos Milagres 16. This journey, including waiting time and walking, will take about 40-50 minutes total.
