Bus
From the city center of Viseu, head to the main bus station called 'Terminal Rodoviário de Viseu.' You can walk there in about 10-15 minutes from Praça da República. Once at the bus station, look for a bus heading towards 'Praia do Ribatejo' or 'Pombal.' Make sure to check the schedule as the buses may not run frequently. After approximately 30-40 minutes of travel, get off at the 'Praia do Ribatejo' stop. From there, follow the signs to the beach area, which is just a short walk away.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Viseu. Start your ride towards the east, following the N231 road. The journey will take around 50 minutes to 1 hour depending on your pace. Ensure you stay on the designated bike lanes and follow the traffic rules. Once you reach Praia do Ribatejo, park your bicycle at the designated bike racks near the beach entrance.
Walking
