From the center of Viseu, head to the main bus station, which is the 'Terminal Rodoviário de Viseu.' You can walk there from Praça do Rossio, which is about a 10-minute walk. Once at the bus station, look for the buses heading to Fátima. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as there are specific departure times. Upon arrival at the Fátima bus station, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima is about a 15-minute walk. Exit the bus station and head south on Avenida D. José Alves Correia da Silva, then turn left onto Rua de São Francisco, which leads directly to the sanctuary.

Start at Viseu's main bus station and take a bus to the nearest train station, which is in the town of Santa Comba Dão. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once at Santa Comba Dão, catch a train to the town of Fátima. The train journey takes about 1 hour. After arriving at the Fátima train station, you will need to take a local bus or taxi to the Sanctuary, which is approximately 5 km away. The bus service is frequent, and tickets can be purchased at the station.
