Walking
If you are starting from the Viseu Cathedral (Sé de Viseu), head southeast on Rua do Comércio towards Largo do Senhor do Bom Jesus. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Praça da República. Take the second exit onto Avenida da Europa. Walk straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua de Montalto. Turn left onto Rua de Montalto, and then take the first right onto Largo Pintor Gata. Continue walking straight for about 200 meters, and you will find Porta do Soar on your right at Largo Pintor Gata 18.
Public Transport
From the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Viseu), take bus line 1 (or any bus that goes to the city center). Get off at the stop 'Praça da República'. From here, walk southeast on Avenida da Europa. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach Rua de Montalto. Turn left onto Rua de Montalto, and then take the first right onto Largo Pintor Gata. Continue walking straight for about 200 meters, and you will find Porta do Soar on your right at Largo Pintor Gata 18.
