From the Arecibo town center, head to the nearest bus stop on Calle Luis Muñoz Marín. Look for the bus labeled 'Arecibo - Lares'. Board the bus and ask the driver to let you know when to get off for the Arecibo Observatory. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. When you get off, walk towards PR-625, and the observatory will be a short 10-minute walk ahead.

Find a local taxi service in Arecibo; you can ask for one at your hotel or nearby. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Arecibo Observatory located at 86VW+MWP, PR-625. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
If you're nearby in Arecibo, you can walk to the Arecibo Observatory. Start from the Plaza de Arecibo and head west on Calle Dr. José Aponte de la Torre. Continue straight until you reach PR-625. Turn left onto PR-625 and walk for about 2 kilometers. The observatory will be on your right. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the walk might take about 30-40 minutes.
