    Getting There

    Bus

    From Arecibo, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Calle Santiago de los Caballeros. Take the bus marked 'Isabela' or 'Arecibo-Isabela.' The bus will take you directly to Isabela. Once you arrive in Isabela, ask the driver to drop you off at the stop closest to Playa Guajataca. From the bus stop, walk about 15 minutes towards the beach by heading west on PR-2 until you reach the intersection with PR-446, then follow the signs leading to Playa Guajataca.

    Taxi

    You can hail a taxi from anywhere in Arecibo. Ask the driver to take you to Playa Guajataca in Isabela. The journey should take about 30 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare before you start your journey to avoid any misunderstandings.

    Walking

    If you're already in Arecibo and prefer to walk, start from the Arecibo Lighthouse and walk northwest on PR-2 for about 5 miles. This will take you through scenic views, and once you reach Isabela, continue on PR-2 until you see the signs for Playa Guajataca. This walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
