Getting there

Car

To get to Charco Azul in Puerto Rico by car, you will need to drive on Highway 52 towards Ponce. Take exit 94B onto PR-2 towards Juana Diaz. Continue on PR-2 for about 15 miles until you reach the intersection with PR-149. Turn right onto PR-149 and follow the road for approximately 8 miles until you see signs for Charco Azul. Follow the signs to the parking area where you can park your car and then hike down to the waterfall.

Public Transportation

To get to Charco Azul in Puerto Rico by public transportation, you can take a bus from San Juan to Ponce. From Ponce, you can take a local bus or taxi to Juana Diaz. Once in Juana Diaz, you can take a taxi or walk to the entrance of PR-149 where you can catch a local bus or taxi to Charco Azul. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently.
