Bus
From the main plaza in Ponce, walk to the nearest bus stop which is located on Calle Cristina. Look for the 'Guayanilla' or 'Ciales' bus. Once on the bus, inform the driver you are going to Hato Viejo. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. When you reach Hato Viejo, disembark at the nearest stop to PR-6685. From the bus stop, walk along PR-6685 until you see the Puente Mata de Plátanos. It should be visible from the road.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Ponce. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Puente Mata de Plátanos in Hato Viejo, Ciales'. The journey will take around 25 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure you have an approximate fare in mind, as taxis do not use meters.

Walking
If you are up for a longer walk, you can start from Plaza Las Delicias in Ponce. Head north on Calle Villa, then turn left onto Calle Degetau. Continue straight until you reach Calle Mendez Vigo and turn right. This will lead you to PR-10. Follow PR-10 north for about 3 miles until you reach a junction with PR-6685. Turn right onto PR-6685, and walk for about 1 mile to see the Puente Mata de Plátanos on your right. Note that this option is quite lengthy and may take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
