Getting There

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From Bayamón, head to the nearest bus stop to catch the 'AMA' bus service. Look for the bus that goes towards San Juan. The most common bus routes are 'A5' or 'D53'. Be sure to confirm with the driver that the bus will take you to the 'Terminal de San Juan'. Once on the bus, enjoy the ride which will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. When you arrive at the terminal, exit the bus and follow the signs to the San Juan Metro station.

    At the Terminal de San Juan, locate the metro station (Tren Urbano). Purchase a ticket and board the train heading towards 'Bayamón'. Get off at the 'Tamarindo' station and transfer to the train heading towards 'Sagrado Corazón'. Ride this train until you reach the 'Sagrado Corazón' station. From there, follow the signs to the bus terminal where you can catch a bus or a taxi to Old San Juan Port.

    Once you arrive at the Old San Juan area, you can walk to the Old San Juan Port. Head towards the waterfront area, following Calle de la Fortaleza.
