From Cabo Rojo, head to the nearest bus stop along the main road (Route 100). Look for the bus marked 'Guánica' or any that indicate they are heading in that direction. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Request the driver to let you off at the Guánica State Forest stop. Once you get off the bus, you will see the entrance to the forest a short walk ahead.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Cabo Rojo. Start by heading east on Route 100, which is a direct route toward Guánica. Follow the road signs towards Guánica, and keep an eye on the road conditions as you travel approximately 14 kilometers. Upon reaching Guánica, look for signs leading to the Guánica State Forest. The entrance will be on your right.

For the adventurous type, you can embark on a walking tour from Cabo Rojo to Guánica. Start at the Plaza de Recreo in Cabo Rojo and head south towards Route 100.
