Getting There

    From the central area of Caguas, head to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Hostos. Take the 'Guaynabo' bus (Route E-40) heading towards Río Grande. Inform the driver that you are going to El Yunque. The bus will drop you off at the main entrance of El Yunque National Forest. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes.     If you are near the Caguas Botanical Garden, you can start walking towards the main road, Avenida Muñoz Rivera. Walk towards the east until you reach Calle de la Cruz. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route 30. At this point, you will need to catch a bus or a taxi to reach El Yunque, as it is too far to walk directly.
