Walking
From the central area of Caguas, head towards the Caguas bus terminal located at Av. José de Diego. From there, take a bus towards San Juan. Buses typically have signs indicating their destination. Once you are on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride to San Juan, which should take about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. When you reach the San Juan bus terminal, exit the bus and walk towards the main road (Avenida Ponce de León).

Walking
Once on Avenida Ponce de León, look for signs or maps pointing towards Old San Juan. You will need to walk for about 15-20 minutes towards the historic district. As you walk, you will pass by various shops, cafes, and landmarks. Keep an eye out for Calle del Cristo; this street will lead you directly to Plaza del Quinto Centenario. When you reach Calle del Cristo, turn left and continue walking until you see the Plaza ahead.

Public Transit
Alternatively, after arriving at the San Juan bus terminal, you can take a local 'guagua' (public van) heading towards Old San Juan. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop near Calle del Cristo. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you get off, walk along Calle del Cristo until you reach Plaza del Quinto Centenario.
