Walking
If you are in the central area of Manatí, head towards Plaza de Manatí. From the plaza, walk southeast towards Calle San José, which will take you towards the main road. Follow Calle San José until you reach the intersection with Avenida Manuel Corchado y Juarbe. Turn left onto Avenida Manuel Corchado y Juarbe and continue walking until you reach the bus stop for San Juan. Board a bus heading to San Juan, which will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in San Juan, disembark at the stop near Calle Norzagaray, and follow the street signs to Cuartel de Ballajá, which is a short walk away.

From Manatí, make your way to the nearest bus terminal. Look for the 'Guagua' or public bus heading to San Juan. The fare is usually around $2.50. After approximately an hour of travel, you will arrive in San Juan. Once you disembark, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Calle Norzagaray. If walking, head towards the waterfront, following the signs to 'Old San Juan', and then make your way to Calle Norzagaray, where Cuartel de Ballajá is located.
